Maca is an Andean crop that grows in the Peruvian highlands (Cerro de Pasco, Junín, Tarma, Jauja, Concepción and Huancayo). This Tuber was found approximately 2000 years ago. The climate and temperatures are between 4,000 and 5,500 meters above sea level, in sedimentary terrain of limestone and dark clay.

Gelatinized black maca powder is 100% pure and natural, containing no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors. This tuber has high amounts of phytochemicals, the most important being the alkaloid called macaine 1, 2, 3 and 4, which balances our body according to the needs of each one and acts mainly on the endocrine system.  It is obtained by selecting sun-dried roots, which are washed, organically disinfected, gelatinized, dried, ground, sieved and packaged, so that their biological properties are not affected.
