It is characterized by being a low-salt cured ham. While staying true to these principles, the Legado de Liedos is the smallest and leanest of those we produce in Altos de Iberia, which is why it requires less maturing time. Nevertheless, it has an average curing period of over 15 months, although each ham has its precise curing time.
