Maca is an Andean crop found in our Central Peruvian Sierra (Cerro de Pasco, Junín, Tarma, Jauja, Concepción and Huancayo). This tuber was found approximately 2000 years ago. The ideal climate for this product is low temperatures and strong winds found at 4,000 and 5,500 meters above sea level.
Gelatinized red maca powder is 100% pure and natural, it does not contain preservatives, flavors or artificial colors. It is obtained by selecting sun-dried roots, which are washed, organically disinfected, gelatinized, dried, ground, sieved, and packaged, so that their biological properties are not affected.
